Various units are used in gas measurement 
 some of these are given below
  •  MMSCM    -   Million Metric standard cubic meter
  • MMSCMD  -  Million Metric standard cubic                          meter per Day
  • BSCM       -     Billion standard cubic meter
  • MMT.        -     Million Metric Tonne (LNG)
  • MMTPA .  -     Million Metric Tonne per                                  Annum
  • MMBTU.  -     Million Metric British Tonne                            Unit
  • SCM         -      Standard Cubic Meter
  • SCMH.     -      Station Cubic Meter per Hour
  • SCMD.     -      Standard Cubic Meter per                              Day
  • SCF.          -      Standard Cubic Feet
  • NCV         -      Net calorific Value
  • GCV         -      Gross calorific Value

Transmission of Pipe line in India :-

  1. TAPI - ( Turkmenistan - Afghanistan -                  Pakistan - India)
  2. IPI  -   ( Iran - Pakistan - India
  3. Iran  - India  ( by Oman link) 
  4. Russia - India ( by Iran Middle East)
