Three phase induction motor is made up of which metal

 

Metal required for making induction motor :-

1. Silicon steel metal sheet -

    Silicone steel is used for making rotor and             stator of induction motor. Many sheet                   connected together to make rotor and stator       to reduce eddy current loss.

2. Mild Steel -

     Induction motor shaft is made up of mild              steel.

3. Copper -

     Winding Rod or wire of induction motor is              made up of copper it is very good conductor         of electricity.

4. Cast Iron -

     Outer Body or casing of motor is made from          cast Iron.
